Dominic Whisson is a British photographer living in London. His personal practice engages critically with his background in the Northeast of England which, examines the human condition through a socially concerned documentary approach. This work has been presented at The Photographers Gallery in London and the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead.
He has been commissioned to work on editorial assignments for publications like LA Times and Metro (London) as well as commercial work for Disney Publishing and the Elton John Archive. Additionally, Dominic regularly works in-studio for a world-renowned artist specialising in ultra large format direct positive photography.
